Zhejiang Sanwei Material Technology Co., Ltd. was established in October 2017 with a registered capital of 850 million yuan and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zhejiang Sanwei Holding Group Co., Ltd. Located in the Coastal Industrial City of Sanmen County, Zhejiang Province, the company covers an area of 205 mu (approximately 33 acres) and specializes in the production of industrial polyester filament and polyester chips. The company uses a 700-ton-per-day continuous polymerization unit developed by the Beijing Textile Research Institute. It also imports the world's most advanced solid-phase tackifying equipment from Japan (TMT), Germany (BMG), Switzerland (Buehler), and Italy (Sula Amara), as well as spinning, stretching, and winding machines, and twisting and warping machines. These facilities are used to produce high-strength industrial polyester filaments, functional polyester chips, high-performance twisted yarns, and stranded yarns. Polyester chips are primarily used for bottle-grade polyester, polyester films, and polyester for chemical fibers. Industrial polyester filaments are widely used in canvas, webbing, signboard advertising fabric, geotextiles, ropes, and car seat belts.
